Open Letter Indiegogo Campaign

Woohoo! 308 heroic humans contributed $34,853 to get the Open Letter published in the LA Times on Sunday, November 10th. The remainder went to the Alliance on Climate Education.

Jordyn Bonds and Mike Gintz are two friends living in the Boston area who do their best to live environmentally conscious lives, but are increasingly distressed by the lack of an aggressive national or international effort to curb climate change.

Jordyn & Mike

Jordyn wrote the Open Letter during a particularly despairing moment, intending to post it to her blog. However, after she showed it to Mike, the two decided the best way to make the letter stand out was to place it in a major newspaper as a full-page paid ad.

Mike further suggested crowd-funding the ad, which gives like-minded people a chance to get involved.

Jordyn and Mike are both musicians. They also both have day jobs making the Internet more user-friendly.
